I bought this as a remembrance to my Great Grandmother, she loved Forget-me-Nots and passed the love of them on to me as well as most other flowers. I love the symbolism of the acorn, the path to growth and new life. It may not be the most expensive and fancy necklace, but I love it and I get lots of compliments from it.
What you see is what you get. I just wish that the chain was not so incredibly thin.
Very nice and unique piece. I wish the bale on the acorn were larger so that it could be put on a different chain. I think given the size it would look better on a longer chain.

I've always made stuff. Sticky back plastic and sea-shells and glitter and words and paint splashes, scraps of fabric and pens that smell of fruit. And then I went to Bible College and went on a mission trip and met my wonderful-now-husband. I married my (American) wonderful-now-husband in America, and when we got back to the UK, we couldn't find work, so I went back to making stuff, hoping it would tide us over until we found Proper Jobs. But then, miraculously, it became our proper job and now we are happy, and busy and so very blessed!
We make real flower jewellery, dandelion jewellery, and nature-inspired jewellery, along with stationery (including our Box of Happy) and doodle-y things. We don't go out very much; we like each other's company ever so much. Also we like the local ducks who we feed most days, even during the winter which was ace as we assumed they'd fly south. We really try to make everything excellently: we want Buttonsy to be run with excellence, and we want to make things that make people smile.
Buttonsy jewellery is made for lovely women who love nature; they love wildflowers and natural light streaming through their windows; they look for shapes in clouds and sense the seasons changing days before anyone else; they wear flowers in their hair, go barefoot whenever they can and leave behind them a trail of joy and dandelion wishes…
I love dandelions. I recently did our weekly shop wearing a dandelion top and a dandelion scarf. I was, effectively, a giant walking dandelion. This makes me happy.
