After a little tweaking of one spout (removing a plastic burr, which was easy, and regressing its direction) I was able to get the fountain to flow evenly and silently. I have hyperacusis (certain sounds in a quiet room make me nuts), so the silence of this fountain matters a lot. Tip: as long as the metal bowl is full enough that the surface touches the bottom of the plastic bowl, no noise, and my kitties LOVE IT. Gorgeous.
I could not believe how poorly constructed this fountain is. The top and bottom sections do not fit together properly, leaving a gap where the water can leak. Small light underneath does not stay put. Delivered in an envelope as opposed to a box. The audacity to charge the price of this product. Save your money. Much better fountains available elsewhere.
