Peppery and rich, this Black Powder Infusion Kit is the perfect way to bring new life to your vodka, gin, or perhaps to make a delicious syrup. Each kit includes three packets that have gunpowder green tea, jasmine green tea, and a burst of black peppercorns for something that will definitely pack a punch.
We started making bitters kits in April 2013 when we first tried to make our own cocktail bitters at home. We didn't have much luck finding milk thistle seed and burdock root in the supermarket and had to order them online in huge quantities. We knew we would never be able to use all of those ingredients before they became stale and realized that there might be other people out there who want to experiment with making their own bitters but don't want to order a ton of weird herbs. We make these kits so other people can have fun with bitters without a huge investment.
