This item must have been hanging around in a very hot warehouse for a long, long time. The top part pulled off from the bottom (it's not supposed to) as I was removing it from the box and I saw that the crappy glue holding it together had completely dried so it was not possible for the top and bottom to stay together. Even though it was a damaged item, it appeared that it could still be functional. I tried to shred parsley and the item just didn't work. I threw the entire thing in the garbage. I communicated with the site and was told they would refund a broken item if I sent them a photo, but I had already discarded it. So kudos to Apollo Box for offering a refund, but the item is way overpriced. I bought it on sale and that sale price was an overcharge. At $22.96 it's really a rip off. If you feel you must have this item, buy it from Amazon for $6.98.
