About us

Hello, my name is Khrystyna and I'm the designer/maker behind Ruby Robin. My handcrafted jewellery is designed to allow the quiet beauty of nature to shine, to stir the imagination, inspire wonder in small things and encapsulate a microcosm of forgotten memories. I make my jewellery using a range of strange and beautiful curiosities, many are found in the woods and on the mountain sides, combed from the windswept beaches and picked in the wild meadows.

Each piece I make, is infused with it's own story, inspired by the quiet beauty of the nature and our relationship with the wild world around us. I strive to inspire a sense of childhood wonder in the wearer, taking you back to that feeling of excitement you had as a child when you found a fragment of a speckled blue robins egg in Spring, a perfectly formed seashell on a windswept beach or some other small marvellous thing from nature.

I create wearable keepsakes, microcosms of memories that can be kept close to our hearts and worn where ever life takes us. I hope that in wearing my jewellery you can share in that sense of wonder, find a moment of comfort in an ever accelerating world and express a facet of your self with a keepsake that fits, truly and perfectly with you. In the words of Ralph Emerson, 'nature always wears the colours of the spirit.'

I especially love making personalized keepsakes pieces, so if you have an idea for a piece you'd like to have made, perhaps with a scrap of your mothers bridal lace, a flower from a bouquet or even a strand of hair from a loved one, then please do get in touch so I can make something beautiful for you!

Shop Policy

SHIPPING:

  • I ship nationally and internationally by Standard Air-mail unless registered/tracked mail in selected. Items are shipped 1-5 business days after payment.

  • Shipping usually takes 3-5 business days to the U.S and other long distance destinations, depending on customs, but if your parcel has not arrived within four weeks after notification of delivery, please get in touch ASAP and we'll figure it out!

  • Depending on your country of residence, you may also need to pay customs, duties or taxes on your purchase.

  • I will ship to your Paypal address, please note that if your Etsy address differs, I will send you a convo to confirm which address you want me to deliver to, which may delay shipping of your item if I don't hear back from you within the two days. If after 48 hours I don't hear back from you I will ship to the Paypal address provided.

  • If your purchase is a gift for someone and you would like me to post it directly to their door as a surprise, get in touch via a convo and we'll arrange it.

  • If you would like to have your item insured and tracked, please make sure you choose the tracked/registered option at checkout! Otherwise I ship by our standard post which although cheap and reliable doesn't come with a tracking number.

RETURNS:

I take great care in making, packaging and shipping my items but if an item isn't as described on arrival you are welcome to contact me either on Etsy or by email (littlerubyrobin@yahoo.com) to arrange a return for an exchange or refund.

PLEASE NOTE! I cannot accept returns of earrings for hygiene reasons, please take this into consideration if placing an order. I cannot in good conscience resell a pair of earrings without being entirely sure they weren't tried on, so unless they arrive damaged I can't fulfil a replacement, return or exchange. Thank you for your understanding.

If an item arrives with damage during transit, I am happy to repair or replace a piece whenever possible if you prefer. To do this I need to have the item shipped back to me first in it's original protective packaging within 2 weeks of delivery.

Full refunds (where the cost of both the item and the shipping is refunded) are accepted only in the event of clear misrepresentation, damage incurred to the piece in transit or when agreed on by both parties. In this instance the buyer will need to send clear photographs of the damaged piece and packaging.

If you've changed your mind about an order and would like an exchange or refund this can easily can be arranged - in both cases, the buyer is responsible for postage to and from seller.
